Will be nice a platinum or legendary ears after diamond ears, like for 5 million points so diamond ears still having motivation to continue improving, there is a step between being good and making it without thinking. Think this will be nice, anyone agree?
Also, I would like to see, how many people have each badge or at least group the statistics. Being better than 98% of the people says nothing to me if e.g. 90% of them would be Iron :)
Hey y'all! Just kind of ranting a bit about the trajectory of my journey with music production. Through earning SoundGym's certification, approaching Diamond Ears, and putting much of my energy over the past 10 months into ear training here, my skills as a producer and audio engineer have undoubtedly evolved. That being said, after getting to Diamond level, I plan to take some away and invest more time in actually writing, producing, and mixing music. I may come back to practice occasionally, to share music I've worked on, and maybe collect a couple more badges, but beyond that, I've been at a transition phase in my goals and direction.
I've been fortunate enough to take a trip to the EU over the past few weeks and have a couple of concerts for bucket list artists of mine (Meshell Ndegeocello, Robert Glasper) lined up for this week, so I've been on and off with a relatively fresh set of ears. Not sure when I'll sign off from SG or show up here less frequently, but before doing so, I just wanted to share my appreciation and thank the community for making it such a formative and enjoyable experience for me :)
Thank you sincerely, these shared words will be very helpful for my training process, I wish you to achieve many milestones in your career and become more and more successful, thank you.
Hi @T. Tinari, many compliments for your reached goals! Do you think is better - in terms of quicker results - playing individual games in a serie, like you wrote, or having a daily training as proposed by SG site? Best wishes, Art
