My experience here on SoundGym has taught me a crucial lesson: Progress is never a clear path. Sometimes it can feel like a straight shot to the top, and other times it can feel like utter failure. Regardless, persistence is the key to progress and growth. I've lost count how many times I scored 0 points on these games even though I'm Diamond Ears. Honestly, I couldn't care less. Sometimes it's annoying yeah but it doesn't bother me like it used it. Now, all I'm focused on just training my ears daily and my mixing and mastering skills have grown sharper because of it. There were times I questioned whether or not I was truly progressing, but I stayed persistent and just kept trying for better or worse. The next time you feel stuck, just remember that even getting to the point of being stuck at that point means you've been moving forward.
