When playing games, how many of you choose the instrument? I've been letting it randomly choose the sounds for each game. I feel like doing that keeps me from gravitating toward certain sounds for certain games. Thoughts?
I gravitate toward a certain one for each game. I feel that I get more tuned into what the game is teaching me to listen for by doing this, than if I were to change the sounds all the time. That's just me though.
I pick familiar instruments. Depending on the game, some instruments don't represent the frequency range being quizzed. Some of the instruments I find distracting when I'm trying to focus on a particular frequency range.
