Any help with the attenuated EQ game, I am hopeless and am not totally sure what I am listening out for. Loving SoundGym though and glad I bought the lifetime sub as probably it'll take some time for my ears to unblock themselves.

I assume you're talking about EQ Mirror, but here's what I want you to do (I hope this helps you as much as it did me):

Go to the game called Peak Master. When you first go into the page for the game, don't start a game but instead look on the right for a button that says practice with pink noise. click that, and slowly sweep around and take note of how the difference sections sound boosted and cut. After some familiarization...

Step 2: Go back to the game EQ Mirror and play the game with the white noise option for the training sound.

This has started helping me unblock my ears with these EQ games, and I'm getting better at EQing with the song training sounds because of it too, which is more fun. Anyway, good luck. These games are hard, it feels like dark souls sometimes but then it just clicks and all of a sudden you can hear stuff. Just keep trying.

Thank you. Yeah, some games are harder than others. The Delay game is impossible. I appreciate your advice, I'll try this. I'm learning Syntorial at the same time so a combination of these is very good ear training.

Usually when one game starts to click, it makes like 2 or 3 other games start to click too. The trick for the delay game was the same as DB king for me, which was that the volume needs to be loud enough to hear subtleties. Hope that helps for those. oh and delay 0-40 sounds pretty dry, 50 - 100 sounds in a room, 110 - 350 ish sounds like a slap of the noise following it, and then you get a feel for delays longer than that. Good luck!
Congrats @Seven 6 for winning the Golden Ears Award!

I'd like to dedicate this award to my mother. Without her, I would have no ears at all! Thank you all for the encouragement!

Hey Yuka, this is a pretty interesting piece of music. I only have two critiques and only one is objective. That chirpy sounding instrument at the begin has a few harsh frequencies in it but it isn't terribly so or anything. The only other thing is the drums sound a little too squashed but given the context of this mix I can see that being a subjective choice. I think this was pretty good so keep at it 🎧
