What's up guys! I got a question.

How do they do this kind of reverb on The Weeknd's voice? There's a lot of reverb and it kinda embraces the vocal. How to get this effect? How to make reverb sound rich?

And question number 2. How do they make his voice sound so “bouncy”? It feels like it’s very rich at 300Hz or something, but when I try to boost this frequency I get mudiness.

for having the voice enveloped in reverb, I would EQ the reverb just to make sure that it can be loud but not muddy up the mix. It could be a very subtle thing, as it doesn't take much in that 300 range to make the vocal sound either thin or muddy.

for the bounciness, I really feel like a lot of that comes from the surrounding instruments/sounds. the bouncy synths have plenty of space in that low/mid range you mentioned. It's like they have to be perfectly balanced with the vocal in that range to allow the vocal to sound warm without being muddy.

I think you just gotta develop a really good ear for balancing that 300-ish range.
