i wonder what are yalls thoughts on high level pan girl, honestly past level 20 it forces you to be comically precise that i dont even think theres a practical use for being able to identify such small differences in panning when mixing an actual track, id rather put all that effort in the compression and frequency games
I believe in panning. You can identify panning differences of 1 degree without any training at all, so why not get good at something your naturally good at?
I keep trying to get better at it of course, but I certainly do not think that the inability to be this precise is ever going to make or break a mix. I believe this to be true of of a lot of these skills, but I still think getting good at them has value.
