Can someone explain this to me?

On the one hand perception of timbre and resonance is scientifically shown to be an activity of the right side of the brain.

On the other hand the most powerful strategy around here to play the spectral games is to use word associations, which is a left brain activity.

Moreover it is shown that when the language processing center is active it blocks activity of the right side of the brain. What am I missing?
