SoundGym

how do all you sound gym vets typically use the resources here? Still doing dailies? Competing for the championship? If you all are still doing dailies, is there a level cap? 100 levels? 1000? thanks lol

I don't believe any level caps (300+ on Dr. Compressor). Still do daily workout most days (with training preferences setup to exclude certain games). Compete in weekly contests.

I've just been choosing whatever games I feel like I'm either falling behind on, or whichever one seems the most practical for me at the moment. For example I've been playing Feedback Eliminator a lot recently because I'm starting to run live sound more often. I don't spend a lot of time training on here but I do it everyday so the consistency is more important than what I'm doing specifically each time

I've been working it as close to daily as possible, since I started last November. As Kevin notes, consistency is important - I've really noticed that if I lay off for a few days like on vacation, I notice it when I get back into playing daily again.

I also just started taking the recording and audio engineering class/youtube referendum. Pretty cool of soundgym to curate such a comprehensive gallery of resources. Is there anything else similar to those features that might be tucked away in the UI?

As I read the word resources I started thinking about soundcoins. I just realised I have 9000 soundcoins and I never really spent it. What do you spend your sound coins on? Do you buy sample packs or artists sounds? Is drum machines any good?
