There's also the Learning Programs here on soundgym if you go to the learning tab and sign up for one of the courses. There's one for mixing & mastering, sound engineering, synthesizing, live sound, and electronic music production. I've completed all of them and ALL of them go into EQ at various points in the course, being explained by different people.
This entire series is free on Mastering.com. They also have one for compressors and another for reverb/delay. It covers both the technical and creative uses for all of it. Really detailed and excellent information. There is also a mixing video by a different member of the staff, also very informative but pretty dry,
