Hi Soundgym Family!
This is always my favorite stop of the day. I have a different type of feedback request I am hoping you can help me with. I recently started a YOUTUBE channel for audio engineers where I am hoping to put up content that deals more with skill building and decision making.
I am only two videos in but being in front of a camera is far from natural for me as is being brief with my words.

I was hoping for some insight as to length, and the amount of content in the video. I simply love discussing audio and can kinda run on and on...I am also a huge Harry Potter fan if the shirt doesn't give it away,,,,

I understand just how busy everyone is, so if you are reading this and thinking about offering me some insight....Thank you so much.

Here is the link

Have a wonderful day!

I really like your videos. Although I'm not an audio engineer I can find value there for improving my mixes. I like the make not just some mixing tips, but more in-depth videos about different techniques and also about how to think about the work, the physical side, and all of that. I personally prefer videos about 10 to 15 minutes. 20 minutes is the maximum I think. If it's a longer video, you really start to consider if it's that interesting topic for you to watch it. Hope to see more interesting videos about mixing from you soon!

Tomas....thank you so much for your advice and support. I love audio engineering and I am constantly on Redditt and other forums trying to nerd out with other engineers and while I feel really unnatural infront of a camera...I thought it would be cool to try and put together videos that really hit home for all of us who spend lots of time recording and mixing. I am trying to get my content down to shorter video lenghts..LOL!!

Great videos for just starting out a youtube channel. I like your calm attitude and that the videos aren't heavily edited although they could be at least at 1080p. It doesn't feel like you don't like it to be in front of a camera - just keep it natural.
I'm an engineer myself and between all the pro audio content you don't have to hide. It's always good to have people spreading the important kind of informations between all those plugin reviews and strong opinions how to do this and that. For me content of your first 2 videos could be more condensed, but I guess that will fall into place along the way. Keep it up, I subscribed already ;)

hey I just wanted to say that by todays standards 1080p is an absolute minimum. Especially in presentation-like videos where there's a lot of small text/icons such as your DAW- in 720p the image is just too blurry to watch comfortably. Also I don't want to downplay your ambition to share knowledge, I respect that, but the reality is that youtube is flooded with channels like this so I encourage you to find an edge ie presenting modern AI solutions such SoundID voice AI, because that's something not only beginners, but also industry pros are interested in right now, which of course may translate to your channel growing bigger. Best of luck😎
