How do you distinguish a Lowshelf Feq. 300 Gain: 9 of a Peaking Freq. 300 Gain: 12, Q:2
In both cases the bass increases considerably.

gotta listen for subs hitting you in the chest. if you feel those, it's the shelf

The Bass images considerably higher if you boost 300 that much compared to a shelf
