Pro Tools. This seems to be missing Studio One. This DAW is becoming quite popular.

Personally I have been using BandLab for the past few months to start mastering basic audio principles and testing the limits of its practical usability... it's super convenient to be able to capture ideas and basic mixes on my phone. It's nowhere near the best or most professional but it is free and completely online, which is awesome.. and cakewalk supports all the plugins

I've tried several DAW's from there beginning stages to now. Yes my recording days started when Reels were going out and Adats were the thing. Today STUDIO ONE is my go to DAW, I use Logic occasionally (very clean) but Studio One hands down is my fav!

I, too, noticed that Studio One is missing. That's what I've been using for the past few years.

Regarding Logic Pro I disagree that it’s not for you if arrn’t already a Mac user. I was not originally a Mac user but I decided that after trying Ableton and Pro Tools and not liking either one of them I invested in a Mac Book Pro and purchased Logic. I am now sold on Logic and also Mac products generally. Logic is a great DAW and for 200 bucks you can own it outright and all the updates are free. No subscription racket to deal with. When you consider how much music gear costs dropping 1200 on a Mac Book really isn’t that outrageous. I have also not experienced the alleged clunkiness of the audio editing which is cited as a von. No regrets here
